OT- We need your help

As you probably heard we are having a benefit for Eric Richter-Jenny's husband. Here is the website that tells about the event-http://www.hopeforeric.com.

Help is needed to put on such a big event. We need volunteers Friday from 5:30pm-10pm and Saturday from 6:30am-4pm. We need help with directing vendors where to set up, greeting people, sitting at vendor booths while they take a break or eat lunch, take vendor food orders, pick up food and deliver the food to the vendors, people to walk around to ensure everything is going smoothly, etc. You could work a 2 hour shift or more-any help is appreciated.
We also are having a bake sale. The preschool at the church is doing this but they did say they need people to make whole cakes or pies or bread to sell at the table. You could bake something and bring it to me or I'll meet up with you somewhere to get it. I live in Keller and I work in Fort Worth and either can be drop off points.
I'm going to be there Saturday selling raffle tickets. We have a men's basked and women's basket that we are raffling off. If you have anything to contribute to the basket that's another way you can support the cause.

I know this really savvy 4 foot tall greeter I might convince to participate..... 

Just so you know - I should have at least 5+ people volunteering on this side if you want to add it to the list. And for anyone who kinda wants to help but don't know if they really want to - there's free food. Come on now. The foodie in me will ALWAYS jump for the chance to get some free food and hang out with friends.

And just cause I'm excited and want to share - I was able to get 7 different restaurants to donate gift cards for the raffle. Whoo hoo! Working on 10-15 more tomorrow!

I was going to recruit her for my raffle ticket sales since I can't mill around selling them. I have Chris recruited for this too, but she's cuter!

Isn't it bad form to send one of the raffle prizes off to sell raffle tickets? LOL!

Alissa, unfortunately I have made tentative plans to go see my mother who has bone cancer that weekend.   However I sweet talked Tom into coming to help out.  He said he could work from 9:00 to 12:00 in the morning....  I'll send him with money for raffle tickets and a donation, and you can put him to work for me!

If I don't get to go see my Mom, I'll come with him...

We are going to Austin next weekend so i won't be able to be there. I would like to send some baked goods and something to auction on Thursday though. Can I bring them to your office Thurs afternoon?

Yes mam you can. I'll PM you with the address. I'll be in a meeting off site all afternoon Thursday but my assistant is there until 5pm and she can give it to me Friday when I get in. Okay?

Is anyone from Houston/Katy going up? I would love to contribute for the bake sale since I can't be there in person.

And more good news is coming in! Just got a huge donation for a portrait setting to be raffled off in the amount of $350! Isn't that exciting!!! I stand in awe of the generosity of people. WOW!
